Listr is a Chrome extension for creating infinite nested checklists. This policy explains what data is collected, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
By default, Listr stores all your checklist data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. Nothing is sent to any server. Your data never leaves your device.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Listr will:
Sign-in is entirely optional. All core functionality works without an account.
When you share a checklist, other users you invite can view and edit it. Shared checklist data is stored in Firebase Firestore under access controls you manage. You can stop sharing or delete a shared checklist at any time from within the extension.
When sync is enabled, your data is processed by Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication). Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No other third parties receive your data.
Local data can be cleared at any time by signing out and removing the extension. Cloud data tied to your account can be deleted by contacting us at the address below or by removing your account from the extension settings. We will delete your Firestore data within 30 days of a verified request.
Listr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
